A sincere personal message from Duncan Philips....

Strictly Banks was very much a labour of love and only happened at all because a bunch of friends had the commitment to see it through to the end. So.. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking them all. If I have missed anyone out, then it is a genuine error and not at all intentional!

Tony Banks: Not many bands have produced so many fine albums or allowed their various members to go on and follow successful solo careers. Genesis are different. Genesis stand out among the rest as having stood the test of time and having brought together an exceptionally talented group of people. Unlike the other members of Genesis, Tony Banks has, as yet, not managed to capture the attention of the public in his own and he remains a hidden talent. Those of us who know and love his work with Genesis and his solo music will appreciate his unique approach to song writing and musical arrangement. He has written so many wonderful songs in a solo capacity but never taken a band on the road and performed them live. That is a tragedy and hopefully that will change one day. In the meantime, Strictly Banks will have to serve as a glimpse of how his songs might be performed in a live capacity. Strictly Banks proved that Tony's music does work when played live. I would like to offer a personal thank you to Tony Banks for changing my life with Strictly Banks, and I hope it might change yours in a small way too. Thank you Tony.

Nick Davis, Mike Bowen, Geoff Callingham and Dale Newman: For help way beyond the call of duty with the CD mixing and mastering at The Farm and for allowing me to become an Honarary member of the 'Curry Club'!

Carol Willis and Tony Smith: For assistance, support.. and the videos!!

Strictly Banks - the band!: In no order of preference, I would like to sincerely thank Richard Mills, Manir Donaghue, Dave Whitehouse, Sophia Caperaros, Andy Monk, Doug Boucher and Judith Spellar. Without you fine people, Strictly Banks would not have existed. In putting the show together we went through a lot of rough times, but we had a lot of fun too! I shall never forget the hilarious lunchtime sessions - I wish we had recorded them! You people are true heroes and I shall never be able to thank you enough.

Tibor Molnar: For designing and printing the programme and safely delivering it to my home all the way from Budapest in Hungary! Since the show you have been a backbone of support for the CD and all things that need a design element! Not a silly man at all. (private joke!)

Alan Hewitt: For donating the text to the programme that Tibor printed - very generous of you and your commitment to the world of Genesis is outstanding.

Martin Dean: For all things technical, making the computer images and doing the lighting during the show! There is nothing that this man can't do with a screwdriver!

The Crew: Thanks go to Will Ingram, Ken Hilton and his daughter Louise for help on the day of the show in many different ways. Your efforts are very much appreciated and we couldn't have done it without you.

Andy Thompson, Tony Burton and Geoff Palmer:
For the loan of the Moog Taurus bass pedals, Rickenbaker bass, bass amp and guitar amp.

FX Music: For the PA system.

Manor Mobiles: For recording the show in glorious 48 track digital stereo!

...... and the million people that I've probably not mentioned!! (Opps!)
